The Shafter Research Station has 5 greenhouses available onsite which have recently undergone a modernization program which utilizes state of the art technology in order to maximize the effectiveness and efficeincy of our greenhouses. In addition to the newly modernized greenhouses  there is also one newly constructed secure bio-level II greenhouse.
